"Santo Domingo"

The symposium was everything advertised and more. I enjoyed meeting people I've only come across, and with some communicated with, online.  The three days were filled with activities from 9am until 7pm with two-three hour sessions to attend, each day. I think my art has been stretched, in a good way, and I think I will need some time for some of what I experienced to percolate a while.

If you want to read more, click here.  Also, the symposium made the news in SD, click here and turn on your translator, if you have to.

Click at either photos, or sketches, to see some of my work while there.  I will only post one sketch here, I don't know if it is my favorite or not, but it is among some of those I felt good about.

  2. Jim - this has a great, great dynamic swooping from the lower left hand corner to the upper right hand corner. The lines are so free and easy and confident - whoa!
